The Central Election Commission of Armenia has announced the final results of the parliamentary elections held on June 7.

The Civil Contract Party, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, secured a decisive victory over its rivals, winning the largest share of the vote. The new parliament will be composed of representatives from four political groups:

  • Civil Contract Party – 49.81%
  • Strong Armenia Coalition – 23.29%
  • Armenia Alliance – 9.94%
  • Prosperous Armenia Party – 4%

Despite its victory, the Civil Contract Party lost 13 seats compared with the previous parliamentary elections held in 2021.

The Strong Armenia Coalition, led by Karapetyan, gained 27 seats in parliament.

Meanwhile, the Armenia Alliance, headed by former president Robert Kocharyan, suffered significant losses, losing 18 seats compared with the previous election and securing only 11 seats in the new legislature.

The Prosperous Armenia bloc also surpassed the electoral threshold and won four parliamentary seats.

Based on these results, the Civil Contract Party will be able to form a new government on its own, without the need for coalition partners.
